Chemicals research

Chemicals have been used in agriculture since the 1950's in an attempt to minimise the impact of pathogens, insects and weeds on agricultural crops. As a broad term chemicals (as termed by Australian farmers) will be used to mean pesticides, herbicides and any product used for the control of pests.
